Bad days can turn into good

Yesterday was quite the roller coaster ride. I spent most of the day being crabby. Jaime's phone broke so I went to t-mobile to see what they could do for us. We're not eligible for an upgrade for another 4 months. I know she really wants a blackberry but I'm not going to pay $400 right now when we can get it for $100 in four months. So I took it to world of wireless to get fixed. They said they could fix it for $30, so I thought that was good news. they told me to come back in a hour. I came back and I sat there for a hour and a half with them coming out every 15 minutes telling me it would be done in a little bit. After waiting all this time they informed me that they couldn't fix it, so I bought a used phone for $60. I drive home down white bear ave. I don't if anyone drives down white bear during the holiday season, but it is a disaster. It's pretty much bumper to bumper. So I get home and try to use Jaime's phone and it doesn't work. By this time I'm about ready to kill someone. I call world of wireless and they tell me to come back...apparently they don't know what the traffic is like. I do drive back cussing most of the time, but we did get a phone. All in all, it tool me 5 hours to get this done.

Meanwhile my wife is having an equally bad day, so we are both pretty irritated. Was makes it even worse is that the boy is in one of his bubbly moods. He doesn't talk to us for three weeks and he chooses today to be in a good mood. Anyway, after seeing his good mood, we decided to open x-mas presents because he is going to be with his Dad for x-mas, and he might not be in a bubbly mood tomorrow so why risk it. Plus I got Jaime a ring she has wanted for months and I can barely keep it secret any longer.

After opening presents, I sit down to watch the football game becasue I'm in the championship game. I ended up winning, once again proving that I have the greatest football mind of all time.

All in all in turned into a great day despite world of wireless.
