My wife's insecurities

I finally figured out why my wife didn't want me to get handlebars. It's not because I look foolish, it's because she's afraid she will lose me. Don't worry honey, I'm not going to leave no matter how many times I get hit on now. That's why she didn't want to go to the grocery store last night, she was afraid that I might have my clothes ripped off by women that couldn't control themselves.

I just thought of something else, if the Vikings win their playoff game on Sunday while I have the handlebars, I might have to keep them until they lose. I don't want to jinx them. Handlebars and Zubaz, Yeah I know, I'm pretty cool.

God I hate Donna Martin

I like to watch the old school 90210. It's on at 4 and 5 on the soap network. Donna Martin makes me so mad. Every scene that has her in it, my blood pressure starts to rise and I just want to kill her. If she wasn't on the show, it would still be on. Yesterday she was caught in an outdoor fire, but wouldn't leave this stupid little deer that I guess was just roaming around Beverly Hills. Of sourse some great looking fireman saves her and they fall in love, and then I have to watch her be all googly goo. And today she gets all mad and motherly towards David and tries to ruin his trip to Vegas. From now on, when she comes on, I'm going to switch it to sports center.

hmmmmm

I'm pretty sure I don't like irratatus. Heres's a convo with the wife who has contracted the irratatus virus.(I would have called it irratitus, but I won't say it to her face).

Jeff: We are invited to go to Chucky Cheese tomorow night.

Jaime: Thanks for asking me!!!

Jeff: I didn't say yes, I just said we were invited.

Jaime: We're not kids

Jeff: Well they have kids and they are our friends.

Jaime: We don't have kids.

Jeff: I'm pretty sure Austin would want to go.

Jaime: No he wouldn't.

Movies

I love going to movies. We went to the movies today and saw The Curious Case of Benjermin Button, and although I love going, I wonder why the woman that sat behind was unable to chew with her mouth closed while chewing popcorn. Did this person have no parents to teach them, it wasn't like this was some kid, this was a grown woman. A couple of times during the movie, I gave her the half turn look. I doubt she saw me through the snowstorm of kernals in the air around her. It wasn't a loud action movie either, so sometimes the only thing you could hear is this woman chomping. You could just tell she had no clue either, and I'm sure she goes home and night and wonders why shes single and has to go to the movies by herself. Normally I would have made some comment under my breath after the movie just loud enough for her to hear, but since its x-mas, I decided not to.

I wonder

I wonder why we bought a bigger house. Last night all I wanted to do is relax and watch House while on the couch. About half way through, Jaime decides to lay next to me on the couch which is fine as long as shes quiet. But Randi saw this and decided she needed to be on the couch also. Last but not least, the boy decides he doesn't want to be left out so he jumps on the couch. Maybewe should have bought a one room house. Having said that, I'm sure in thirty years I'll miss that family bonding.

Bad days can turn into good

Yesterday was quite the roller coaster ride. I spent most of the day being crabby. Jaime's phone broke so I went to t-mobile to see what they could do for us. We're not eligible for an upgrade for another 4 months. I know she really wants a blackberry but I'm not going to pay $400 right now when we can get it for $100 in four months. So I took it to world of wireless to get fixed. They said they could fix it for $30, so I thought that was good news. they told me to come back in a hour. I came back and I sat there for a hour and a half with them coming out every 15 minutes telling me it would be done in a little bit. After waiting all this time they informed me that they couldn't fix it, so I bought a used phone for $60. I drive home down white bear ave. I don't if anyone drives down white bear during the holiday season, but it is a disaster. It's pretty much bumper to bumper. So I get home and try to use Jaime's phone and it doesn't work. By this time I'm about ready to kill someone. I call world of wireless and they tell me to come back...apparently they don't know what the traffic is like. I do drive back cussing most of the time, but we did get a phone. All in all, it tool me 5 hours to get this done.

Meanwhile my wife is having an equally bad day, so we are both pretty irritated. Was makes it even worse is that the boy is in one of his bubbly moods. He doesn't talk to us for three weeks and he chooses today to be in a good mood. Anyway, after seeing his good mood, we decided to open x-mas presents because he is going to be with his Dad for x-mas, and he might not be in a bubbly mood tomorrow so why risk it. Plus I got Jaime a ring she has wanted for months and I can barely keep it secret any longer.

After opening presents, I sit down to watch the football game becasue I'm in the championship game. I ended up winning, once again proving that I have the greatest football mind of all time.

All in all in turned into a great day despite world of wireless.

So I'm starting a blog

After reading other people's blog, I have decided to break down and start my own blog. I figure if my wife can do it, I should be able to do it also. I will try to post daily, but we will see how my dedication is.
